What is the "baby on board" sticker on cars for?

We regularly come across them on the roads. Often placed on the rear window of cars, is the "baby on board" sticker only a decorative accessory? Does it have a real use in terms of safety?
Encouraging vigilance while driving
The primary goal is to encourage other road users to drive carefully near your vehicle. With a baby on board, you also drive more slowly and some drivers tend to stick close to you to signal their displeasure.
In fact, their effectiveness is relative and a sticker will not change the attitude of aggressive "drivers".
We also think about the emergency services that intervene in the event of a road accident. Although the information is useful to them, they always carry out a check of all vehicles involved in the accident and a "baby on board" sticker does not necessarily indicate the presence of the child at that time.
Ride in style
It must be recognized that its primary use remains to take the road in style. Whether it's the Baby Groot, Star Wars or little angel on board version 👀 (we're less of a fan of that one), the "baby on board" sticker remains an object of decoration and belonging.
It allows us to show our pride in being parents and to join this “community”.
So you might as well choose it with taste!
What do we do?
As you can imagine, at mitty we are team "baby on board". Prevention is better than cure and if the use of a sticker can be useful (even a small one) both in terms of behavior and safety, then you should not deprive yourself of it.
Our final argument: style above all!
